Hi, I'm Stephen, the owner of Citibus Models. My interest in buses and coaches developed around the age of 16. I started collecting toy buses and trucks, and at first it was only a small collection, but then I started buying model bus kits and started to really enjoy the hobby. I loved having a fictional model bus fleet. One day, I took it upon myself to turn my hobby into a business.

 

I originally started by selling die-cast buses in 2001. A few years later, I began selling model cars and trucks in 1:50 & 1:24 scale. I then switched to selling model cranes in 1:50 scale in 2012.

The hobby market then changed, so I started my own model bus kit brand called 'Mirror Image Models' which grew over the years. One day in 2019 I felt the urge for a rebranding, so I sold the name 'Mirror Image Models' but kept a lot of its best-selling products.

From this bloomed Citibus Models which is growing to this day...
